Widescreen, wallpapers, disney, wallpaper, image, 3jokes, gallery ...My son is four years old. He has several Disney movies and TV shows that he enjoys watching. He has a few favorite characters that have become part of his daily imagitive play.

Lightning McQueen from the Cars movies is one of his favorites. He has a plush Lightning McQueen that he uses as his pillow and won’t sleep without. He has a Lightning McQueen flashlight that is used to find lost items that have made their way under the couch. He has tons of die-cast cars, some from the Cars movie. He uses his Lightning McQueen cars (he has several) to crash, save the day, and go on adventures. He can play hours with his toy cars, and the characters from the Cars movie play a large part.

One of my son’s favorite TV shows is Jake and the Neverland Pirates. He has pirate dress-up clothing and loves to pretend to be Jake. He makes treasure maps, and practices writing the letter X each time he does so. He has pirate swords that he loves to pretend with, and have pirate fights with his dad. He is now able to dress up as Jake at bedtime too since we bought him a pair of Jake pyjamas.

I introduced my son to one of my childhood favorites, The Lion King. When my son is watching The Lion King it’s obvious that he enjoys Simba, Timon and Pumba, and understands the Scar is the bad guy. Watching Th Lion King with him and discussing the various characters has allowed us, at a four year old level, to talk about illness and death.

There are many other Disney characters that my son enjoys watching on TV as Disney Junior is a favorite channel. I expect new favorites to appear as he grows older and has new interests.
